NOTES FROM LORI

As we head into November and 2026 begins to wind down, I know we can all get incredibly busy. Before the holiday rush starts, I would like to pause for just a moment to send a sincere thank you to our Work Awesome community. Working with you is a true highlight of what we do each day. Your trust, collaboration, and support are essential to the work and services of OffiCenters. YOU are our number one referral source and we are so grateful.

This month, we are highlighting our OneCommunity Partners as November is a month of giving. You can check out our nonprofits in this newsletter and listen to our Podcast with Rosanne Shaver and Heather Austin from the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund. Their story is an awesome conversation that I think will inspire you. We're supporting this worthy OC Partner by selling RSCRCF Tackle Cancer winter hats at all our locations. A $10 contribution gives you a warm and stylish hat and is a great gift for cancer survivors, thrivers, and their loved ones, with 100% of your donation going to their charity. Please note that November 19 is Give to the Max Day. If you have the resources to share, any of our OneCommunity Partners would greatly appreciate even the smallest donation.

Get out your boots and sweaters as colder weather is upon us. I see that this has brought more people to our Slice of Woodbury and West End networking events. If you are looking to make great connections and want to promote your business, I would highly recommend attending one, or both. Please join us for these free events and expand your network!

On behalf of the Team at OffiCenters, I would like to wish you a well-deserved Thanksgiving holiday filled with family, friends, great food, and plenty of success as we head towards year end. Check out the dates for our annual holiday lasagna lunches! They are right around the corner. I hope to see all of you in the workspaces this month.

Making a Difference Together

Give to the Max Day has been celebrated for 17 years, bringing Minnesotans together to support nonprofits and schools across the state. Since launching in 2009, the initiative has raised more than $400 million for over 14,000 nonprofits and schools. Give to the Max is celebrated on November 19, with early giving beginning on Nov. 1. Several of our OneCommunity Partners are featured on the Give to the Max website, providing an opportunity to showcase their missions and the meaningful work they do. We're so proud to partner with organizations in our community that actively make a difference. We encourage you to take a look at the Give to the Max website and learn more about these incredible organizations. Learn more HERE.

Our OneCommunity Partners are finding meaningful ways to support individuals, families, and organizations over the next few months. From donation drives and volunteer opportunities to events and programs, every nonprofit is helping make a difference. These initiatives offer opportunities to give back, get involved, and learn more about the work our Partners do to serve others. As we celebrate the season of generosity and Give to the Max Day, we invite you to learn more about our Partners and how you can get involved. Read HERE.

Through OneCommunity, we use our space, resources, and community connections to help local nonprofit organizations thrive. By creating opportunities for these organizations to share their missions, build relationships, and access support, we aim to make a meaningful impact beyond our walls. We believe that when we come together, we can accomplish more. OneCommunity reflects our belief that strong communities are built through collaboration, generosity, and a shared commitment to helping others. Watch our video HERE.

Our Holiday Lunch schedule is officially here! These lunches are the highlight of our season and prove to be the best attended events each year. At all six OffiCenter locations, we'll be serving up Yarusso Bros Italian Restaurant's famous meat and vegetarian lasagna, with fresh salad, bread, and an assortment of holiday cookies. Mark your calendars and join us to toast to all of our 2026 accomplishments and our goals for the year ahead. Reserve your spot to eat, drink, and be jolly at one, or more, of our holiday lunches HERE.

Breaking News: Woodbury Elevator

Work has officially begun on the elevator in the building of our Woodbury OffiCenter location. After an extended period of being out of service, progress is finally underway, and the end is in sight. Building management expects the elevator to be fully operational by the end of this month. We are looking forward to having the elevator back in service and making access to our Woodbury location more convenient for members and guests. We appreciate your patience during this time.

Go Vote!

Election Day is on Tuesday, November 3 and polls will be open from 7AM to 8PM. As business owners and professionals, staying informed on important dates keeps us engaged in the communities where we live and work. Election Day is a great reminder to take a few minutes out of your busy schedule to make a plan if you choose to vote. Minnesota has a strong history of voter participation, and we can continue that tradition by making our voices heard. Whether you plan to vote before Election Day or on November 3, knowing your options ahead of time can make the process easier. Find a voting location near you HERE.

This is the seventh restaurant location for the local chain, which formerly went by the name Hyderabad Indian Grill. Websites That Work for You

Balius Marketing, International Plaza Member, says one of the biggest mistakes businesses make is letting their website sit untouched for months. Outdated content, broken links, and old contact information can create a terrible first impression and make potential customers question whether your business is still active. Rather than spending valuable time managing website updates and maintenance, Balius Marketing can handle it for you! They specialize in helping businesses maintain a professional online presence, so you focus on what you do best. To learn more, contact Adam at 952-346-9258 or click HERE.

Justice4Katie, OneCommunity Partner, participated in the Anoka Grande Day Halloween Parade for their fifth year. Their mission is to drive change, raise awareness, and honor the memory of Katie Burkey, who was tragically lost in a distracted driving incident in 2017. The 1.5-mile parade featured their impactful float, which displayed a crashed car, demonstrating the real consequences of unsafe driving. Through efforts like this, Justice4Katie continues to honor Katie's legacy while educating people about the dangers of distracted driving. Learn more HERE.

Christmas in the City, OneCommunity Partner at International Plaza, presents its 27th annual Christmas in the City event. This initiative offers an opportunity to support impoverished families living in Minneapolis and make their Christmas wishes a reality. Each family will receive a case of groceries, a turkey, hand-picked personalized gifts for each family member, and a moment of encouragement from those delivering the items. We invite your business, neighborhood, or family to consider sponsoring a family in whatever way you are able. Adopt a family or donate HERE.

Power of 100 Women, sponsored by Woodbury Community Foundation, OneCommunity Partner at Woodbury, hosted its first event last month. This event brought together 150 women in our community to support local nonprofits and make a meaningful impact. Each woman contributed $100, collectively raising $15,000 to award to three selected local nonprofits. Bridge to Basics received $10,000, while The Connect Center and SoWashCo Cares each received $2,500. We are excited to see the difference these organizations make in our community.

Branch Lutheran Schools of Haiti, OneCommunity Partner at Park, is hosting a fundraiser, GivingTuesday, to continue making a difference in the lives of children in Haiti. Through six Lutheran schools, Branch provides Christ-centered education while meeting the educational, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of more than 1,800 students. Their goal is to raise $50,000 to support this important work and help children grow in faith, knowledge, and opportunity. Learn more about their organization and donate HERE.
