ECC celebrates nail technology grads

Seven students recently graduated from ECC’s Nail Technology program. According to the ECC website, “the course provides instruction and clinical practice in manicuring, the application and maintenance of artificial nails, and pedicuring. The curriculum also provides a simulated salon environment, enabling students to develop their skills.”

Graduates of the Nail Technology Program must take the NC Cosmetology State Board Licensing Exam. After that exam, they will be qualified to work in beauty and nail salons.

The 2024 Nail Technology graduates are Brittany Avent, Dayssa Fuentes, Jillian Gorno, Laconia Mcaffity, Janya Shields, Angela Davis and Toshika Watson.
