Daniella Chace is a leader in the field of medical nutrition therapy. Her mission is to empower people to improve their health with informed food choices.
The Chace Method offers an integrative approach to breast cancer prevention, treatment, and recovery -- based on the understanding that the body's internal environment can influence how cells function, respond to treatment, and recover.
Developed by nutritionist and toxicology expert Daniella Chace, the method translates emerging science into practical recommendations that address conditions influencing breast cancer risk and recovery.
At the foundation of The Chace Method is a simple principle: the body is constantly responding to its environment. What we eat, breathe, absorb, and experience can influence oxidative stress, inflammation, hormone signaling, immune function, detoxification, and gene expression.
Readers learn how to:
- Identify and reduce exposure to environmental chemicals that contribute to breast cancer
- Build a nutrient-dense whole-food diet rich in cancer-protective compounds
- Support the body's natural detoxification pathways, including the processes that help metabolize and eliminate hormones, environmental chemicals, and other compounds
- Improve hormone metabolism naturally
- Support an anti-cancer gut microbiome
- Provide nutrients needed for healthy gene expression
- Reduce chronic inflammation and oxidative stress, two conditions that can interfere with healthy cellular function
- Support the body's natural defenses against abnormal cells
- Use nutrition and lifestyle strategies alongside conventional breast cancer treatment
- Create a healthier internal and external environment during treatment and beyond.
The Chace Method looks at the whole system -- the interaction between environmental exposures, nutrition, hormones, the microbiome, metabolism, inflammation, and epigenetic regulation.
The method can be applied to prevention, active treatment, and recovery, and its principles are relevant across breast cancer subtypes. It provides practical guidance for reducing avoidable exposures, improving nutritional status, supporting the body's natural protective and detoxification systems, and creating conditions that are more favorable to long-term health.
The Chace Method is about understanding the many factors that influence cellular health -- and identifying the changes that can be made to support prevention and healing.
Daniella is interested in providing a Zoom presentation about epigenetic healing to the Nancy's List community. If you are interested, please contact Daniella at 208/ 720-8271 or daniellachace@gmail.com
