Learn Why Failure has a Bad Reputation During WYEN’s Back to School Webinar with Emily Leinen

Join WYEN on Tuesday, September 29 at 11:30am for the third installment of the Back-to-School Roadmap: Failure as Fuel: The Maker Mindset, featuring Innovation Wyrkshop Makerspace Manager Emily Leinen. Failure has a bad reputation. In classrooms and afterschool spaces alike, it's often treated as something to prevent, fix quickly, or quietly move past — rather than something young people can actually learn from. Bring along something that you've made to share!

Your Feedback Matters

Respond by October 1st to Shape Wyoming’s OST Future

What does Wyoming’s out-of-school time community need to thrive? The Wyoming Department of Education wants to hear from you! WDE launched a 21st Century Community Learning Centers Needs Assessment Survey to better understand the strengths, challenges, and needs of programs, families, schools, and community partners across the state. Your input will help shape the next 21st CCLC grant competition and identify where funding and support can make the biggest difference. If you work with young people beyond the school day, take a few minutes to share what you’re seeing, what’s working, and what your community needs. The survey closes October 1.
