• Spectrum is expected to provide high-speed broadband services to about 3,700 Lantana homes by next spring. Jimmy McCullough, Spectrum area vice president, said via email that Spectrum will first begin to add its service to about 700 homes by the end of the year. After that, Spectrum is expected to add its services to more than 3,000 additional homes/small businesses in the area.

• The experience for international students at UNT: The university's international student body comes from 117 countries — many from India, at 77%, and many of them in master's degree programs. International students often find part-time work in campus dining facilities and graduate assistantships.
