From Your Administrative Team

Hello Families,

This week is a short week due to Professional Development THIS Friday, 2/3. Enjoy the short week!

While Lunar New Year celebrations continue locally and globally, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the violence and harm inflicted upon a Lunar New Year Celebration in Monterey Park recently and share a few resources that might be helpful in any conversations you may be having with your family at home. These resources have been shared with our staff from the Los Angeles County Department of Education. We stand against gun violence and in support of our Asian friends and neighbors in the aftermath of this tragedy, and always.

8th Grade Tours of Da Vinci Science, Da Vinci Communications, and Da Vinci Design!

Wednesday Feb. 9th at 10:30 am

We are excited to offer your student in-person tours of Da Vinci Communications, Design, and Science. These visits will take place on Wednesday, February 9th, 2023 from 10:30am to 11:30am on our 201 N. Douglas campus. Your student has already seen DV Connect High, and now this will be a fantastic way for them to see Da Vinci’s other high school options up close. They will learn more about what Da Vinci's real-world curriculum, extracurricular offerings, and more look like at DVC, DVD and DVS.

These tours are taking place on a Wednesday which is an asynchronous day for your student, so you will need to provide transportation for your student. Tours will be led by Da Vinci student ambassadors from each high school to provide an insider's view into the day in the life of a Da Vinci student. All tours will include time for Q&A.

The Da Vinci school visits are for 8th grade students only. For more information about upcoming high school info sessions for students and families, please visit the Da Vinci Enrollment Overview webpage.

The Priority Application Deadline to apply to Da Vinci Schools is February 28, 2023. > Apply Now

We can’t wait to see your child on campus soon!
