Father Trace has announced his retirement, effective 15 January, 2027.
A copy of the letter can be found HERE
Creator God, we thank you for your unfailing love and grace to us, despite our human failings; and we thank you for your Church and its leaders, especially Fr. Trace and his wife, Karen. We pray for them, and for us, as Trace ends his ministry at All Saints; and we look to the future and where you will lead us as your people. We know that you know the way, even when we do not. Please give us faith to do the work you have called us for, and the trust to follow in your way. All this we ask through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Amen.

Financial Update for 2026:
Thank you to everyone who has increased their giving for 2026! (not only by matching the $2k challenge, but MANY others have increased their giving for this year as they have been able.)
We have had eight households match the $2k challenge made by Elizabeth!
These MANY gifts bring us closer to balancing our finances for 2026.
It's not too late to give!
As we said last week, even though our deficit for this year is around $50k, we have no extra money in the bank if needed for emergencies.
Please consider if you can still give. Thank you to all who give! And thank you those who have been able to give more!
Please note that this is not part of the 2027 Pledge Campaign that will be presented this coming week.
| | | |
2027 Pledge Campaign:
"Keep the Light Shining"
Our annual pledge drive begins Sunday!
Your generosity sustains our church, supports our ministries, and helps us continue to serve our community.
Please submit your pledge by bringing your completed pledge card (coming next week in the mail) to church or online using the QR code what will be provided in the packet.
We encourage everyone to submit their pledge by November 29, the Sunday of our Ingathering, so we can plan for the year ahead.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping keep the light shining at All Saints!
We ask that all pledges be turned in ASAP, as we need to make some financial decisions on how best to bring another Priest in Charge to All Saints after Fr. Trace's retirement in January. Thank you!

Pastoral Care & Support:
Pastoral care is a ministry of presence, prayer, and accompaniment. Our clergy are always honored to walk with you in times of illness, transition, grief, discernment, or thanksgiving.
Home Communion: If you are in need of support, please reach out. If you are unable to attend services and would like to receive Holy Communion at home, please contact Deacons Anita or Deanna to schedule a visit. Visits are arranged at a time convenient for both you and the visitor, ideally on Sundays.
If you or someone you know would welcome a call, visit, or prayer, please let us know. It is our joy and calling to be present with you.
You can email any clergy or the church office.

New-Comers Welcome:
Are you new to All Saints Church and want to “officially” join the parish?
On Sunday, 22 November, during our 8:00 and 10:30 Holy Eucharists, we would like to welcome new people to our congregation, with a short ceremony that will take place before the passing of the peace.
If you have been attending for a few months, or a year or more, or if you have recently been baptized, confirmed, or received in the Episcopal Church, we invite you to be part of this so we may welcome you.
Copies of the service can be found HERE or on the table in the baptistry on Sunday, and you may ask Fr. Trace for more information.

10:30 Fellowship Time
One of the values of All Saints is Fellowship. “Fellowship - A community in the right relationship with God and others, sharing a unity of purpose and spirit in the life of Christ.” is a quote from our Mission & Values statement. Helping with Fellowship Time and participating in our after church gathering time by sitting down with a new member or a visitor helps to build our All Saints Community.
A big thanks is due to all who have stepped up to help the last few months.
Thanks to them we have had lots of food to serve at Fellowship Time, on Sandwich Making Sundays, and the Vaccination Clinic.
Looking Forward
Help is needed to make coffee, bring food, and clean up. Do you teach Sunday School or sing in the choir and want to help? You can just drop food off before heading to teach or practice with the choir labeling it 10:30 Fellowship Time and leaving it in the kitchen.
Help is also needed to help with the set up. Just come to the kitchen between 10:00 am and the start of the service. You don’t have to bring food, just arrange snacks on plates and cover them with plastic wrap, and take things out to the coffee table. Cups, plates, napkins, and silverware also need to be put out.
Many hands make light work and your assistance is welcome. Sign up on the Fellowship Time sign up sheet or contact Ann Hollowell at annhollowell@gmail.com.

Every day is a gift from the Creator.
- We’re living in a world that’s out of balance. Some people have plenty, but most have too little. Those with the greatest power and influence seem to have lost touch with the Creator and lost respect for Creation. The blessings of each day are not meant to give us whatever we want, but to meet our deepest needs. Our communities and Creation herself are not “out there” somewhere; we’re part of them, and they’re part of us.
- If every day is a gift from the Creator, the natural response is gratitude. My mother taught me that abundance is not a matter of possessions, but a consequence of gratitude. “If you’re thankful for what you have,” she often said, “you’ll get more.”
We may not be given everything we want, but we have what we really need.
-
Jesus warned us about people who “store up treasures for themselves but are not rich toward God.” (Luke 12:21) We can begin by focusing more on our gratitude for the blessings we’ve received than on what we think we want. We can remember to value relationships more than possessions, which will lead to more generous sharing with one another. We can expand our sense of family from “nuclear” to “extended” to “all my relations,” including all of God’s Creation. A life-giving cycle is created as gratitude leads to generosity, promoting a sense of abundance that generates still more gratitude, making the cycle self-perpetuating. Thanks be to God!

Recent heavy rainfall and flooding have caused significant damage across Navajoland and parts of Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Families have been displaced, homes and roads damaged, and access to food, clean water, and other necessities disrupted.
Our friends at Episcopal Relief & Development are working with local partners to help affected communities with immediate needs, including food, essential supplies, and temporary housing.
We invite you to keep our neighbors in your prayers and, if you're able, consider making a gift to support relief and recovery efforts.

Share the Spirit of Thanksgiving at Friendship Manor!
Wednesday, November 25, 2026
We know the day before Thanksgiving can be busy for everyone, but could you spare a couple of hours to help make the holiday a little brighter for the residents of Friendship Manor?
As one of the founding churches of Friendship Manor, First Congregational Church has a special connection to this community. This Thanksgiving, we're continuing our tradition of sharing our blessings by serving a celebratory brunch to the residents.
No cooking required! Our Outreach Committee has the food covered. We just need a few more helping hands to assist with setting up, serving, and cleaning up afterward.
It's a wonderful opportunity to share some kindness, fellowship, and Thanksgiving cheer with our neighbors.
Can you lend a hand?
Please contact Glenda LeHoux for more information or to volunteer.

Dear Friends in Christ—
It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of
The Rev. LeRoy Carter, a dear friend and priest of the Cathedral Church of St. Mark for many years. LeRoy ascended to eternal life on October 31.
Please hold LeRoy, his spouse Nancy, sons Jeff and Paul, and the Carter family in your prayers.
+++
There will be three liturgies to remember our brother LeRoy's life:
Memorial, St. Mark’s Cathedral, Friday, November 6, 12:10 p.m., in the Chapel of the Resurrection. We dedicate this Eucharist service to Rev. LeRoy, with time for people to share their memories and stories of Rev. LeRoy. Rev. LeRoy’s sons will attend.
Viewing and Funeral, Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Toole, Thursday, November 12; viewing 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., funeral 1:00 p.m. The funeral will be led by St. Mark’s Cathedral clergy.
Requiem Mass, St. Mark’s Cathedral, Saturday, November 14, 1:00 p.m, followed by interment in St. Mark’s Columbarium.
+++
Most merciful God, whose wisdom is beyond our understanding: Deal graciously with LeRoy's family in their grief. Surround them with your love, that they may not be overwhelmed by their loss, but have confidence in your goodness, and strength to meet the days to come; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
+++
Almighty God, our Father in heaven, before whom live all who die in the Lord: Receive our brother LeRoy into the courts of your heavenly dwelling place. Amen.
Let his heart and soul now ring out in joy to you, O Lord, the living God, and the God of those who live. This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.
May LeRoy's soul and the souls of all the
departed rest in peace. Amen.

St. James Episcopal Church Calls The Rev. Brigette Weier as New Priest-in-Charge
On behalf of the St. James Vestry and Search Committee, we are pleased and excited to announce Pastor Brigette Weier has been called as the Priest-In-Charge at St. James. She will assume the role on November 29th, the first Sunday in Advent.
She is currently the pastor at St. Matthew’s Lutheran - ELCA in Taylorsville, Utah. November 1st, All Saints Day, will be her final day.
The Episcopal Church and Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) have been in full communion for more than a quarter of a century, dating back to January 6, 2001. The Episcopal Church and ECLA reached an agreement, “Called to Common Mission”, and now recognize each other's baptisms and ordinations. Pastor Brigette will be one of three Lutherans leading congregations in the Episcopal Diocese of Utah, joining The Rev. Lisa Mensinger at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Ogden and The Rev. Angela Chacon, who leads a joint Lutheran/Episcopalian congregation at Ascension St. Matthew’s Church in Price.
The Vestry was drawn to her infectious energy, her Pastor led strategies to engage youth and her candor, leavened with humility and prudence. She is interested in developing short term and long term plans for St. James.
We would like to thank both the Search Committee and the Vestry for their tireless work in this 16 month process.
Thank you also to Rev. Mary Janda and Canon Rev. Terri Heyduk for their work as supply clergy during this time of transition and for their service to St. James over the years.
Please join us in Advent as we welcome Pastor Brigette to St. James.
