I'm thrilled about the initial success of my new podcast venture. Its been fun and rewarding!
I've been learning as much as I can about how to promote and grow a good podcast audience. One important thing I've learned is that I only have the first 4-6 weeks to make it on to the "new and noteworthy" section of places like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, etc... Apparently, 5-star reviews really help with getting noticed. If you have the time and desire, I'd love to get a review from each of you. If you use another service, that's great too. A positive review anywhere will help get the word out. Please share with your friends too! Social media, chat lines, the girl at the check out counter, your cat...who ever you think might be interested.
Finally, Patreon suggests I shouldn't be shy about asking my community to support my podcast. I gained 26 patrons in just one month, which is amazing! Imagine if I gained that many more every month?!
