A MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD
Hello and Happy Fall! My name is Tim Bates, and I'm a Board Member of the Whispering Bluff HOA.
My wife Joni and I became owners at Whispering Bluff about a year and a half ago. We have been fans of Ruidoso for many years and are excited to be part of the WB community. We were drawn to the area by the cooler weather, the beautiful scenery, and the great outdoor opportunities, and we make it a point to enjoy all three as often as we can.
Whispering Bluff is a great base for exploring not only the many wonderful restaurants and shops in the Village, but also the surrounding public lands. And there's no better season to do it in than Fall. The air turns crisp, the aspens and oaks along the mountainsides shift into gold and amber, and the whole area seems to slow down just enough to notice it.
Whether you're strolling the sidewalks downtown, popping into a local shop for a warm drink, or lacing up your boots for a hike through the Lincoln National Forest, autumn in Ruidoso offers something for everyone. From colorful overlooks along the trails to the cozy charm of the Village itself, this is truly one of the best times of year to experience everything the area has to offer.
