Support Her Future!
According to recent studies*, poor urban children were greatly hit by the pandemic with an almost 50% absentee rate during the height of the Covid crisis. We are still witnessing the fallout of this difficult time, with students needing to make up lost study time and improve their critical reading and mathematics skills.
At the YWCA of the City of New York, we strive to improve educational opportunities for underserved New York City youth. We are focusing our energies on additional programming designed to increase academic competency so our young people can succeed.
