Come prepared to learn necessary fiber handling skills, such as:

• how to properly build a fiber optic splice enclosure
• proper wrapping tube basics handling
• ribbon fiber fusion splicing
• single fusion fiber splicing
• single fiber mechanical splicing

Teams attending will need to bring in their splicers and cleavers. Two techs can share fusion splicers and tools. Can wrenches should also be brought to aid in the closure training.
