THE All AMERICAN WAVE

July 2025

In Loving Memory

We remember and honor the life of John Potts, cherished Co-Owner and CFO of All American Relocation. John’s unwavering leadership, integrity, and passion have left a lasting legacy on our company and in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

A devout Christian, loving husband, father, and grandfather, John's faith and family were the cornerstones of his life. An active member of Apex Baptist Church and the Apex Lion's Club, he was affectionately known as the world's greatest tail twister by friends. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of not only the people closest to him, but anyone who came to meet him.

John's professional achievements were numerous. Under his leadership, All American Relocation won the President's Quality Award five times. He also served on the AMSA board and the NC Mover's Association, where he was honored with the Mover of the Year award and the James T. Dorman Distinguished Service award.

John's legacy will remain strong through the countless lives he impacted, both personally and professionally. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues. His memory will forever be a guiding light for us all.

Commercial Success

This quarter, our Charlotte commercial team successfully completed the headquarter move for Premier Inc. into their 146,109-square-foot Class A office space in the Ballantyne Corporate Park. Pictured is some of the Premier Inc. relocation team at their ribbon cutting ceremony. Large moves such as this one demonstrate the drive and willingness of our crew, as well as their dedication for getting the job done, whatever it takes.

In addition, Our Raleigh team recently wrapped up a major office removal and storage project for a valued client preparing for renovations. In just three days, our team cleared three full floors, 90 offices, cubicles, and conference rooms, and securely transported all contents to our storage facility, where they’ll remain for the next seven months. Every item was carefully packed and organized to ensure safe keeping. Once renovations are complete, we’ll return to reinstall workstations and office setups, restoring the space with the same amount of precision our team demonstrated during the office removal.

Our commercial teams always go above and beyond to ensure seamless moves for our clients, and their hard work truly pays off. From start to finish, they handle every detail with care and professionalism. We’re proud to celebrate their dedication and teamwork. Well done, team!

Cool for the Summer

This July, our teams in both Charlotte and Raleigh celebrated National Ice Cream month with a well deserved ice cream break! It was the perfect way to unwind, recharge, and enjoy a tasty scoop (or two) of ice cream under the warm North Carolina sun.

We are incredibly fortunate and deeply appreciative to work alongside such an amazing group of individuals. All American Relocation is so thankful for such an amazing team!

Community Connections

This quarter, AAR has been on the move in more ways than one. Our team has not only been serving our valued clients but also stepping out of the office and warehouse to connect with fellow professionals in the community.

Relopalooza

In May, our team attended Relopalooza in Raleigh — the 4th joint relocation services conference cohosted by CMARC & VARC.

It was a great time meeting and connecting with relocation professionals from across the country.

North Raleigh Chamber of Commerce

AAR was proud to host the North Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s monthly coffee event in June. The gathering welcomed around 25 Chamber members for a morning of networking and community connection.

Since joining the Chamber in October 2024, we have found the partnership to be a valuable asset in our marketing and business development efforts. We look forward to continuing to build meaningful relationships and support local business growth through future Chamber events.

Office Moving Alliance

All American Relocation was honored to sponsor the welcome reception for this year’s Office Moving Alliance (OMA) Annual OPA Meeting. It was a fantastic evening filled with great food and even better people.

We’re always excited for the chance to connect with fellow relocation professionals, as well as those in other industries. These opportunities are not only enjoyable, but incredibly valuable and we are so thankful to be able to continue to grow our community.

Giving Back

Besides working diligently during the busiest time of the year, our team has been spending lots of time connecting with the community.

In June, AAR was proud to be one of the sponsors for Haven House Services’ Battle of the Bags, a fundraiser and silent auction supporting youth in the Raleigh, NC area who are in need of housing, counseling, and other vital services.

As well, in May, AAR proudly attended and was one of the sponsors of the UNC Health Championship, a Korn Ferry PGA Tour event that raises funds to support UNC Health’s initiatives, benefiting children and families across the region. Pictured is the winner of the championship, Trace Crowe.

We’re honored to collaborate with such impactful organizations. We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and make a meaningful impact in our community. Supporting organizations like Haven House Services and UNC Health is not just part of what we do, it’s part of who we are as All American Relocation.
