CPC Missions Update

May 2025 | 3

Christ Presbyterian Church Family and Friends,

We hope you will enjoy and be blessed by reading the latest news from the missionaries we support at Christ Presbyterian Church.

As a reminder, we list a missionary to pray for each week in the Sunday worship bulletin. Hopefully, this will help you put a face with a name and give you more information on how to direct your prayers.

Alan & Anne Cochet - MTW France

Serving MTW full-time as MTW's France Pastoral Care Associates to provide encouragement and support for missionaries and pastors serving in France, Italy, Belgium, and deepen awareness throughout the PCA of the ministry needs and oppotunities in Europe.

***Alan Cochet is coming to Christ Pres on Sunday, June 1st to give us a missions update at 9:30 am in the sanctuary and will also be preaching during worship.

Jeff & Katie Saunders

RUF/MTW Tokyo, Japan

Jeff and Katie work with the pastors and team of missionaries at Grace City Church and Grace Harbor Church, to continue the church planting movement in Tokyo, Japan. Jeff has also begun a campus ministry at a local university with RUF called Kairos.

Jeff meets with students regularly to talk about the Bible and share the gospel. Katie meets with moms in the area and hosts a few women in their home for a Mom's Bible study. Many of the women are not believers, so they go through the basics of Christianity.

Peter Ngwilli (Tanzania)

Peter Ngwili came to the Diocese of Mara-Ukerewe as Director of Community Development in 2006. Peter is a Kenyan whom God has called to serve the poor. His passion for this work is palpable.

Update coming soon...

Dan & Catherine Burns

Dan and Catherine are serving in Central Asia to help train and equip the next generation of church leaders. They serve through WO-ITEN, building out a network of church-based training centers in a number of regional hubs.

The Professors

There is a huge demand at universities around the world for professors to help students master English. The Professors work in nations that are highly restricted politically and highly resistant to the gospel.

What do lessons with titles like FISHBAIT, iWORLD, and Shakespeare plays have to do with missions? Using compelling content and creative teaching methods, these lessons open doors for teachers to build relationships and plant seeds as they teach students in Academic classes.

Who is MTW?
