Founder, Home Bright Power Washing
B.S., Financial Management, 2023
What role do you play in the entrepreneurial ecosystem?
I started Home Bright Power Washing my sophomore year at Clemson and quickly became obsessed with seeing how happy customers were when their property looked fresh and clean. Since then, we have acquired high-performance equipment and implemented systems that allow us to serve as a trusted partner to property managers, real estate professionals, and homeowners. Along the way, I’ve also developed a passion for helping future entrepreneurs grow and become leaders in their businesses.
What are some of your best memories of your time at Clemson?
Some of my favorite memories from my time at Clemson were spent on Lake Hartwell. Between going fishing and hanging out with friends, it was a lot of fun. I can’t forget about going to the football games, Triple T’s, and just the everyday life of growing up in a special community.
What were the key inflection points in your career after you left Clemson?
Inflection points usually involve stepping outside your comfort zone, and it’s normal to feel nervous. Some of those moments for me included hiring my first employee, cleaning our first apartment complex, securing a contract with the City of Clemson, and taking out our first loan.
What are your personal and professional dreams?
Personally, I dream of raising kids, having a farm, and traveling the world.
Professionally, I dream of scaling Home Bright Power Washing and helping other entrepreneurs scale their businesses.
What would you recommend students do to maximize their remaining time at Clemson?
Take action and get to know as many people as you can. You’ll never have all the answers before you start, and there will never be a better time than now to experiment with the business idea you have. This is also one of the best times to make friends and practice networking. Have fun with it.
What else should we know about you?
I adopted my dog Gus from Greenville Humane Society last year, which has been a lot of fun, and I enjoy taking him on walks around Greenville!
