H.R.1 Updates & Resources
On July 4, 2025 the House Reconciliation bill (H.R.1) was signed into law and the new changes will take effect over the next several years. These changes will impact eligibility criteria, how Medicaid programs work and what Colorado's state budget will look like. To understand these changes and how they may impact you and/or your community please use the resources below:
HCPF recently published an H.R. 1 Toolkit that includes flyers, half-sheet handouts, and suggested messaging for community partners. We've attached several of these resources for your use.
H.R. 1 Toolkit: hr1toolkit.healthfirstcolorado.gov
We're also encouraging members to update their contact information now so they're prepared when six-month renewals and community engagement requirements begin. Here is our NHP Update Your Contact Information (Spanish here) tip sheet, which we've been using at community events to help members proactively verify and update their information before these changes take effect.

Meet Natan Wallace
Natan grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel. He moved to Colorado five years ago. He and his wife are kind of a Facebook success story. After years of living in different countries and losing touch, they reconnected when she saw that he had posted a story from the U.S. She invited him to come visit her in Colorado, he booked a ticket that same day, and the rest is history!
Natan has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and economics and has always been a bit of a data geek. He enjoys putting his love of data to work in a way that can make a difference and help people.
He and his wife have a dog and a cat who love nothing more than annoying each other. In his free time, Natan loves seeing the world, exploring new places, going to techno raves and seeking out new experiences.
Fun Fact about Natan
Recently, Natan fell in love with chess and he even built dashboards and does data analysis on his own games to help improve his performance.
