Perpetual Adoration

Saints Peter and Paul will begin sign-ups on Divine Mercy Sunday for additional permanent weekend adorers, with the goal of opening the chapel to perpetual (24/7) adoration by the Feast of Corpus Christi on June 11.

We need 82 people to fill 41 holy hours with Jesus so the chapel can be open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Confession and Divine Mercy Sunday

Whether your last confession was 10, 20, or even more days before Divine Mercy Sunday, as long as you do not have the stain of unconfessed mortal sin on your soul, then you are spiritually alive in Christ and able to receive His special grace from Holy Communion on that great feast day!

Note that four priests have been scheduled to hear Confessions between 1:30 and 3 p.m. on Divine Mercy Sunday, but the opportunity remains limited to that timeframe.

Hallow Lenten Challenge

We hope participants are enjoying the daily #Pray40 sessions. The in-app group includes a daily reflection and question based on the day's material—feel free to comment! Prayer intentions are also encouraged, as praying is one of the most important things we can do for each other.

In-Person Events

In-person events will be held in the Social Hall at 7 p.m. on March 16, March 23, March 30, and April 4.

Come enjoy an Irish Dinner tonight!

40 Days for Life

In addition to 40 days of prayer and fasting, please consider volunteering to pray outside of the Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Aurora.

Saints Peter and Paul will again be praying during the 40 Days for Life Campaign on Friday, March 17, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Bring a friend and spread the word to others about this important life-saving effort.

It is AMAZING how faithful and committed this SSPP group is to this sidewalk ministry! Last month we had EVERY slot filled thanks to Jim Stoffregen, Jennifer Hill, and Peter Alexenko, who came up to bat in the "final inning” to fill the 7 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. slots, respectively! God Bless this entire team of prayer warriors!

Please honor St Patrick with a “wee bit o’sacrifice” this coming Friday!  :-)

Good Friday “Way of the Cross”

at Planned Parenthood Aurora

Through His Holy Passion, Our Lord united Himself with all the victims of suffering in this life. None suffer more innocently than children in the womb whose lives are taken by abortion. None suffer more deeply than their mothers, who carry such a burden of guilt and shame.

On Good Friday we remember all the victims of abortion—the children lost, the mothers wounded, the communities blighted—in a solemn, ecumenical prayer service:

All sessions are held on Monday evenings, 6:30—8:00 pm in the St. Paul Center for the New Evangelization (corner of Benton & Brainard streets). There is no charge to attend the sessions, but pre-registration is required. Participants are encouraged to bring a bible to the Seasons of Hope sessions.
