Provide-A-Lunch = Provide-A-Meal

PAL is more than a lunch, it’s a meal. For some of our clients, it is the only meal that day. Nutrition is important. May patrons are affected by malnutrition rather than a lack of calories. We prefer to make meals using simple ingredients, whole foods, and fresh produce when possible and not relying on over-processed, heat-and-eat products that are readily available in fast food establishments.

We cook on the second Saturday of each month (November 14th from 8:30 – 12:30) for the Hanover Area Council of Churches (HACC). It is an adventure in food preparation and hospitality. We benefit from joyful teamwork and camaraderie. Our clients benefit from good food prepared with love and concern for nutrition. Please contact Cindy Blum if you have any questions.

Annual Congregational Meeting 2026

Our Annual Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, December 6 at 9:30 A.M. in the Sanctuary. During the meeting, we will look to ministry in the coming year by approving a budget for 2027, which can be find at the end of your bulletin, and electing members to our Congregation Council and other boards and committees as outlined by our constitution. We will also consider proposals for how to utilize some of the funds from the Murray bequest. Your voice and vote are valued and essential in the governance of our congregation. Please plan on joining us as we consider these important matters for our congregation.
