Three Sisters, Three Bigs: Reconnecting at Girls Inc!

These three sisters are part of something truly special at Girls Inc.—each of them has their own Big, creating an amazing support system. Meet Little Riley with Big Mia, Little Rubie with Big Katy, and the newest pair—Little Raelyn and Big Sophie. Recently, all three pairs had the chance to come together and reconnect after a summer apart. It was a joyful reunion filled with lots of laughter and fun.

They spent their time recounting their summers, learning new card games, and playing around with robots provided by Girls Inc. Raelyn, who just got matched with Sophie, jumped right into the group’s activities, making her introduction to the program super memorable.

Beyond the fun, all three matches are involved in SPUD (Student Programs for Urban Development), embracing the opportunity to give back while growing together. It’s all about learning, connecting, and making an impact in their community—showing just how meaningful mentorship can be when it’s paired with strong family bonds and a shared sense of purpose.

The 34th Annual Rodman Ride for Kids

Despite rainy weather, spirits remained high at the 34th annual Rodman Ride for Kids. This year’s event aimed to raise $100,000 to support BBBS CMMW and our mission to provide mentorship to local youth. We are more than halfway there, but are still working hard to reach our goal. Currently, we have 650 children matched with mentors, but there are still 100 children on the waitlist, emphasizing the urgent need for support.

Cyclists participated in 25- or 50-mile routes, starting and ending in Foxborough. The funds raised will directly enhance BBBSCM’s programs, helping to empower children with guidance and support. Connie Askin, CEO of BBBSCM, highlighted the transformative impact of mentoring, noting how it can boost children's confidence and life skills. The event showcased the strength of community support for BBBSCM's mission, and we are excited about the positive change this fundraising effort will bring to the lives of our Littles. Thank you to everyone who participated and continues to support our mission.
