Note from the CEO: Jennifer Hawks Bland

Summer unofficially starts this weekend and the NewYorkBIO team is planning ahead! We want to hear from you about potential in-person gatherings. Therefore, please take the survey and share your opinions with us. June is loaded with virtual events and we hope to see you in person later in the summer.

Next month, we are launching a three-part webinar series about getting back into the office with panel discussions around topics like bioscience (June 9), real estate (June 16) and government & academia (June 24). Look for those webinars in June.

Join NewYorkBIO and BioNJ on June 10th to talk about Foreign Price Controls, featuring Duane Schulthess of Vital Transformations. The impact of proposals like H.R.3 could significantly damage our ability to create new cures.

We're bringing back our Emerging Biotech Company Showcase, hosted in partnership with the New York Stock Exchange.

Please also save the date for our 2021 Annual Meeting, which will be held in Manhattan on September 27th. We're looking forward to seeing you in person again!

NewYorkBIO is proud to be partnering with the New York Stock Exchange for the third Emerging Biotech Company Showcase on June 23, 2021.

The virtual Showcase brings together New York's financial community and a group of emerging biotech companies that are developing novel therapeutics and technologies that could revolutionize patient care. This year the event will include presentations from seven up and coming European biotech companies.
