GREEK INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE – MARCH 30, 2025
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN
To: All Federation Member Societies, Communities, Greek Orthodox Churches, Schools, Associations, Professional and Student Organizations, Supporters, and Parade Participants
Dear Members and Friends,
For 85 years, the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York has proudly organized the Greek Independence Day Parade. We are delighted to announce that this year’s Greek Independence Day Parade will take place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., along Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue, from 64th to 79th Streets.
The 2025 Parade Committee and its subcommittees are meeting weekly at the Stathakion Center (22-51 29th Street, Astoria, NY) every Thursday at 7:00 p.m., beginning January 16, 2025. We warmly encourage all member representatives and the wider Omogeneia to attend these meetings and share their ideas, skills, talents, and resources to help ensure a successful parade.
This year’s parade theme is:
“GREECE: The Birthplace of Democracy and Strategic Partner of America”
To streamline the process and reduce costs, we are requiring ONLINE registration for all participants. Please complete your registration as soon as possible. The deadline to submit all forms, typed messages, and full payments is March 20, 2025. Participation will only be confirmed upon receipt of all applicable fees and completed forms.

- Paper forms will not be accepted this year.
