Support in Time of Need

May 25: Friends, loved ones and community members gathered in Northridge on Sunday evening for a candlelight vigil to honor the memory of 14-year old Ava Rodriguez, beloved daughter of LASD Sergeant Caroline Rodriguez. As you can imagine, Ava's passing on May 16th is an unimaginable loss for her family and we ask that you keep them in your prayers.

Honoring the Sacrifice of Our Nation's Heroes

May 26: Memorial Day is a sacred day to honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while valiantly safeguarding freedom for fellow Americans.

In honor of all of our fallen heroes, the U.S. Congress, by a joint resolution approved May 11, 1950, requested the President issue a proclamation calling on the people of the United States to observe each Memorial Day as a day of prayer for permanent peace.
