360 Names for 360 Lives Saved
"The point of writing my name to you is that I see who you are, you see who I am... and that's what it's about."
— Nana Visitor

Just like every newborn is given a name at birth by his or her parents, at A Safe Haven for Newborns we too give our precious little ones a name. Today, I would like to share the names of the 360 babies, some teens by now, that makeup the Safe Haven for Newborns family -- to date.

For 2022, they are: Gianni, Igantius, Jimmy, Mia, and Kirk. To see the names of all the Safe Haven for Newborns infants -- from the beginning -- please click here.
What Does A Safe Haven for Newborns Do
I am often asked: What does A Safe Haven for Newborns do? I reply: We save newborns from the ultimate in infant abuse, abandonment through education, grassroots community involvement, direct assistance and our 24/7 confidential, multilingual referral helpline.

We support distressed pregnant girls and women from all walks of life. Everyone is helped. We are never judgmental and we do not charge for any of our services.

April is Safe Haven for Newborns month to celebrate the lives of the 360 precious newborns given a chance at life and now living with the love and guidance of their forever families.
Safe Haven for Newborns enriches my soul every single day. I could never express the emotional gifts I and our committed, passionate Ambassadors (volunteers) receive being a part of this life-saving and life-changing mission. So many wonderful life-changing stories, the thousands of moms we helped, hundreds of precious newborns that now have a future and the hopes and dreams of a forever family fulfilled.

In a perfect world, there would be no need for an organization such as A Safe Haven for Newborns. But, our world is far from perfect, and all we can do is try to make our piece of it a better place. We cannot save every infant and guide every troubled mother, but we can make a difference for as many as possible, and we will never stop trying.

We know that there are many worthy causes to support. I am so grateful for the trust and confidence expressed by so many. I believe if you touch someone’s heart, they will respond. Please consider a monthly or one-time donation to enable us to continue this life saving mission. A community leader recently expressed to me that “this is God’s work."
