Are you ready for Spring Break? We sure are!
Our P.L.A.Y. Spring Break Camp is excited to offer full-day fun for the week of March 30 – April 3! Campers will join us from 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM each day for fun activities, daily morning yoga, STEM challenges, 2 exciting field trips, and more! We'll handle breakfast and an afternoon snack, just pack a lunch. $100/child. Sign up in person at our Preston Park, Grandin Court, or High Street after school programs. Or, call 540-853-2770.

Music on the Mountain returns Sunday, March 8!
Join us each month this spring at the Mill Mountain Discovery Center for an evening of free live music. We'll have a food truck, beverages for sale, and fun crafts to complete the experience.
Sittin' In with Robby featuring Chad Nickell will be playing on March 8, and the food truck is Kerstins Kitchen. Music starts at 5:00 PM.

PLAY Pride Kickball returns April 5!
PLAY Pride leagues are a great way to meet new folks and enjoy the fun of the game in a supportive environment! $30/person. Games are held at River's Edge Park, Sundays from 11 AM-12 PM. Season runs through early June.

This day camp version of our After School P.L.A.Y. program is offered all summer long! Activities include sports and games, speakers/instructors, arts and crafts, visits to the pool, and various field trips, all with a focus on overall youth development.

FUNDAMENTALS OF MOUNTAIN BIKING CAMP
New in 2026, we're partnering with Roanoke Star Cycling to offer an adventurous week for campers that enjoy exploring by bike! Don't worry - there will still be lots of traditional camp activities like tubing, environmental education, and more!

OUTDOOR EXPLORATION CAMP
This camp is designed to keep your child engaged outside with nature activities from wilderness survival, nature crafts, and river ecology to outdoor recreation like hiking, ropes course, zipline, caving, climbing, water sports (canoeing, kayaking, tubing or stand up paddle boarding), archery, slackline, rock climbing, and so much more!

Offered June 22 - 26, July 20 - 24, and August 3 - 7

BIG ADVENTURE CAMP
We’ve created a summer camp experience geared toward different, more challenging excursions for older youth. While similar to Outdoor Exploration Camp, we’ll be exploring different venues and building various adventure skills for a new, engaging experience. Anyone interested in participating in adult athletic leagues can sign up as a Free Agent. The list is used by coaches and captains to source new players for their teams.
We're also hosting a Signing Day Social on March 10 for coaches and free agents to meet, mingle, and form their softball teams!
