California community colleges are helping fill workforce gaps statewide. Many industries—including healthcare, public safety, technology, AI, and cybersecurity—need more highly trained workers. Community college bachelor’s degrees are unique because they are developed with employers and designed to prepare students for good-paying, in-demand jobs close to home.

This isn’t about replacing the traditional path to a bachelor’s degree. It’s about expanding opportunities and strengthening the path to a successful career.
