An alert from the US Section of the
Women's International League for Peace and Freedom
On Tuesday, November 2, the Earth Democracy Committee is hosting the monthly Program Committee meeting

Today, I am writing to invite you to join us at 5 pm PDT / 6 pm MDT / 7 pm CDT /8 pm EDT for this special Program Committee meeting, open to all WILPF members. Additionally, you’re welcome to join us at the optional Before Meeting, starting at 4:30 PM Pacific Time, and/or for the After Meeting at 7:00 PM Pacific Time. These are times for more informal conversation and getting to know each other better.

Please register in advance for any or all of these meetings.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

As we head into the 2022 midterm elections, the issue committee chairs will speak about their long term plans and, in particular, what each committee will focus on in the months before Election Day, November 2022. This will be a chance to learn more about what types of actions the committee will be calling for over these months. Hear what groups each might collaborate with to amplify the framing, message and effectiveness of the issue committee campaigns and projects.

I anticipate that this discussion will be helpful in planning your community and branch programs for 2022. And I am sure that the issue committee chairs will welcome some feedback.

We’ll also be talking about the proposed changes for the Mini-Grant program. You will have a chance to learn more about this program as a funding source for your work.

I certainly look forward to having you join us on November 2.

Thank you so much,
Nancy Price, Earth Democracy Co-chair
