Making the Most of Your Brand

Your brand draws in a potential audience and customer base, so allow your aesthetic to amplify you.

  • Your product is targeting specific demographics, so be strategic.
  • Your brand needs to showcase how your company is a solution to their problems or simplifies their life.
  • Create specific material for your audiences…meaning multiple elevator pitches or pitch decks
  • Be consistent to your Brand, even if you have multiple templates.

Think of a brand hero as your typical customer, and think of their story as the journey they took to find you.

  • Walk a mile in your customer’s shoes and think of the hero’s journey
  • Create a main character, find out what problems they face, analyze the data related to the problem, and create a story for how your main character finds your venture’s solutions.
  • Hint: physically draw out this story–stick figures work too!
  • Include the story of your brand hero on your website
  • Make sure your brand hero’s journey aligns with your branding

Your brand guide includes all the aesthetic features that help your company be unique and true to itself.

  • Brand colors
  • Brand imagery: logos and graphics
  • Brand primary and secondary fonts
  • Aim for consistency! Create a pallet that matches each other and displays your mission
