SEEKING PARENT BADMINTON COACH

We have a Badminton Club starting this February! Ideally we would have a parent step forward to coach for our students. The club will be Mondays and Thursday from 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM for 8 weeks. Would you be interested in teaching this fun sport to ICS Students? Please reach out to president@icsptsa.org.

FBLA WINTER BALL

FBLA is hosting the formal Winter Ball on February 9 from 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM (high schoolers only). Spend a memorable night dancing away with friends and of course, enjoy free food! Purchase your tickets NOW at the office or through the LWSD payment portal for $20 with an ASB sticker, or $25 without.

Don't forget to enter the "asking competition" by sending pictures or videos of your platonic or romantic proposal to icsfbla@outlook.com or @phoenixfbla on Instagram! A special prize will be given at the Ball to a winning duo. Good luck!

ART DAY IS MONDAY!

Art Day is just around the corner (Monday, Jan 29). This is a fun day where parents and students get to interact and create fun projects. Get excited, let's celebrate the halfway point of the year!

FROM THE SCHOOL

8TH GRADE PARENT/STUDENT INFO NIGHT

ICS will be hosting its first ever grade 8 parent/student information night on February 1 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM in the Lyceum. This event will be hosted administrative team and supported by the counseling department and special guests. We will be covering a wide range of topics listed below:

• ICS HS curriculum pathways and options;
• Panel of guests that will speak to their experiences during their HS years:
• This will include current HS students and parents;
• A collection of video messages from the class of 2023;
• An opportunity to answer questions from parents and students.

We strongly encourage 8th grade parents and students attend this event together.

12TH GRADE FAFSA/WASFA NIGHT

ICS is hosting a FAFSA/WASFA night to assist 12th grade students/families in completing the FAFSA/WASFA for the 2024-2025 school year. Light refreshments will be provided, courtesy of PTSA, along with childcare supervision, courtesy of ICS high school students.

This will be held in the lyceum on Monday, January 29 from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. We hope to see all 12th grade students and their families there!

REPEATED ARTICLES

NEW DATES FOR PE WAIVER HELP

Coach Vogt will be assisting students through the PE Waiver Process. Study sessions will be on the following MONDAYS in the Lyceum from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM: February 5, 12, 26 & March 4.

Encourage your 10th, 11th or 12th grade students to attend these sessions and complete their waivers! There are three opportunities per year to submit waiver applications and the final deadline for this school year is March 6th. For questions, contact president@icsptsa.org.

If you have not already ordered your yearbook, purchases can be made through the Office or via the LWSD Online Payments Portal!

For parents of seniors: Senior Ads are due February 2! 

ICS SKI BUS WAITLIST

ICS Ski Bus may have single seats available for those who are interested to join for unsupervised free skiing/riding at Alpental on the days of the trips. Open to ICS Students, siblings and friends. Cost: $60 per person per bus ride. If interested, and more information, please fill out the waitlist form, or contact Boris Baryshnikov.
