Let’s Zuak! Tile Making Project in Celebration of Yom Haatzmaut

Alper JCC members are invited to enjoy a light brunch and participate in a hands-on wood tile making project with Israeli artists from our sister city, Yerucham, Israel using an ancient Moroccan technique called Zuak. J-Spotlight: Gina Grant, Alper J Swim Club
|
|
Last month Gina Grant, of the Alper J Masters swim team, represented the United States of America in the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi. Gina stood atop the podium twice earning a silver medal and a 4th place medal in the 1-mile Open Water and 800m Freestyle respectively. Upon returning home, Gina got right back to work competing in YMCA Masters Nationals in Orlando, FL. Gina swam faster than ever dropping time in every event and winning multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals. Later this year, Gina will prepare to compete in the INAS: Athletes Without Limits Global Games in Brisbane, Australia. Congratulations Gina from all of us at the Alper JCC! Welcome home Champ!

Important Changes at J Fitness Beginning May 1st
Beginning Wed., May 1st, the new doors at the Fitness Center main entrance will be locked. If you have not already received your access card for entry, please do so immediately at the Fitness Welcome desk.
Sunday Fitness Center hours will change effective in May. Please note the
Fitness Center will close at 5pm on Sundays starting May 5th.
