In 1994 we had no idea how successful it would be.
TimeControl version 1.0 was a character-based DOS product. We had no sooner released it than we started feverishly working on a Windows version. Windows was the number one request people made of us when we talked about TimeControl and a year later, we delivered TimeControl version 2.0 as a network-enabled Windows product with ties to Welcom Software's Open Plan and Microsoft Project.
To our delight, TimeControl 2 started selling right away and we started work on the next big release, a version which would support client-server databases like SQL Server and Oracle and integrate with project management tools like Primavera. TimeControl 3 would do both of those and a lot more. We shipped TimeControl 3 in 1997.
Since 1994 there have been over 50 major releases of TimeControl each one would feature 10 to 20 either new or enhanced features. Over the years we were at the leading edge of technology, shipping one of the first web-enabled browser-based timesheets, one of the first mobile interfaces for smart phones, one of the first multi-lingual timesheets and one of the first Software as a Service subscription timesheet services in the Cloud.
Our clients are a remarkable list of organizations in both the private and public sectors that we are very proud of. They span the entire planet.
TimeControl now comes in multiple editions including TimeControl on-premise, TimeControl Industrial on-premise, TimeControl Online, our Software as a Service edition, TimeControl Industrial Online and TimeControl Project.
TimeControl may be turning 30 but we think its best years are still ahead. Our next release is scheduled to ship before the end of the year and we're already hard at work designing future editions of TimeControl.
