2.1 Clinical Breast Assessment (CBA)
Clinical breast assessment entails a comprehensive and multi-tiered approach for both breast cancer screening and diagnosis. CBA involves clinical exam/evaluation, imaging and follow up recommendations. This can vary in high risk and underserved populations. The multidisciplinary team of experts participating in this post conference will present updates in screening and diagnostic mammogram guidelines, risk assessment, the role of breast health awareness and clinical breast exam. Participants will also learn about how the latest diagnostic imaging (mammogram, ultrasound and breast MRI) is applied when common focal findings (masses, thickenings, focal pain, nipple discharge, breast pain etc.) are present. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive clinical case presentations with the panel of experts, to improve critical thinking for the patient presenting with breast concerns. There will be a Certificate of Attendance. There will also be offered virtual simulation with new exam simulation technology.

Distinguished lecturers also include:
Melinda Wu, MD, MScCH, CCFP
Julie Culver, MS, CGC
Sandhya Pruthi, MD
