Financial Aid
This year, we are offering two different forms of financial aid. The Diversity and Equity Scholarship is aimed towards individuals who have historically been shut out of the EE field: BIPOC, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, and other traditionally underrepresented groups. Full and partial scholarships may be awarded. Financial Assistance for Volunteers is available for one day virtual day attendance and full conference attendance. Financial assistance money is awarded upon completion of approximately 3-5 hours of volunteer time depending on your awarded amount.

eeAdvocacy Update:
Use your Voice to Support the Colorado Outdoor Equity Grant Program!

BILL UPDATE! HB21-1318 was introduced on May 14th! The bill will serve Colorado's underserved youth by connecting them with a variety of opportunities to explore and enjoy our state's great outdoors. Thank you to Senator Leroy Garcia and Representative Leslie Herod for sponsoring this important legislation! The bill passed in the house with a vote of 43-22. We expect a final vote in the Senate on Friday, June 4th. Visit Next 100 Colorado on Twitter or CAEE's Facebook Page to share information about the bill with your supporters.

Colorado LEAP Ballot Initiative
We are also looking for organizations to endorse the Colorado LEAP Ballot Initiative. This initiative would provide funding for families to choose from a menu of approved out-of-school learning providers, including tutoring and career and technical education-training programs, AND environmental and outdoor learning programs like summer camps or after school programs.
