NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Long Beach, California, acting by and through the City’s Board of Harbor Commissioners (Port) will receive, before the Deadline
established below, Proposals for the following Services:
PL-26-01 On-Call Professional Planning Services
Scope of Services
The Port of Long Beach (Port) is seeking qualified consultant(s) to provide on-call professional planning services in one or more of the following planning categories. Each proposer must possess demonstrated proficiency in at least one category listed below:
1. Strategic Planning and Land Use
2. Transportation Planning
3. Project Development Services
4. Data Management and Analytics
In addition, all selected consultant(s) shall provide general support services, including training and development; technical GIS support; and community outreach services.
Port expects to award more than one contract from this procurement.

SBE Certification - The Port only accepts SBE certifications issued through the PlanetBids System, and by the State of California Department of General Services (DGS). To receive credit as an SBE/VSBE and to participate in the Port’s SBE/VSBE Program, all firms must hold a valid SBE certification issued by the Port or by CA DGS.
