As you may be aware, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated their mask guidance recommendations in the community for those who are fully vaccinated.
This updated guidance applies only to community settings and does not apply or change our recommendations for staff or patients in health care settings.
AltaMed's current universal mask use continues at all times, as do screenings, physical distancing, routine effective hand hygiene, surface disinfection, and other infection prevention recommendations. These are all still in place. We will continue to update you if these recommendations change in the near future.
