We Look Forward to Seeing You Sunday, October 11th!
Due to the size of this year's Walk & 5K, the event will take place in the lower section of the park, near the bandshell.
Here are a few important details to help you prepare for Sunday:
🕗 Registration: The registration tent will be located to the left of the pool when standing in the parking lot. Registration opens at 7:30 am for same day packet pick-up. With nearly 800 participants registered, please plan to arrive early.
🚚 Food Truck: Ted’s Steamed Cheeseburgers will be serving breakfast sandwiches and burgers, Ben & Jerry’s will offer free ice cream to the first 500 attendees (for purchase after 500), and Westies Drink Company will have specialty shakes and beverages available. All vendors accept cash, credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
🎟️Raffle Tent: We have a very robust raffle this year, with over 50 items available. Cash and Venmo will be accepted to purchase raffle tickets. Tickets are 25 for $20.
📖Resource Corner: Stop by to explore resources, support services, and community organizations dedicated to helping individuals and families navigating loss, infertility, and grief.
🧘♂️Yoga/Mindfulness: If you need a quiet moment during the event, join Kelly Healy of Dragon Fly Yoga for a 30-minute yoga and mindfulness session and connect with your breath. Feel free to bring a beach towel if you'd prefer not to sit directly on the ground.
🌤️ Weather Reminder: Expect a mostly cloudy day with temperatures in the mid-60s and a chance of afternoon showers. We recommend dressing in layers and bringing a rain jacket to stay comfortable throughout the event
