Annual Member Meeting & Interactive Session New

Join WECC for the Annual Member Meeting and Interactive Session from 8:009:45 a.m. Mountain on September 18.

With the pace and magnitude of change across the interconnection, understanding the interdependencies between the natural gas and electric power systems is increasingly critical for grid reliability. For this interactive session, guest speaker Gary Venz with Williams’ Northwest Pipeline will share his first-hand experience about natural gas system challenges and the coordination necessary between the two industries to avoid an adverse event that puts lives at stake. We expect the discussion to reveal how WECC might focus its work to ensure collaboration and coordination between industries for the benefit of grid reliability.

We invite you to watch the Reliability in the West Discussion Series recording from September 3 as a primer for this interactive conversation.
