Reminder: Ridge Support Can Implement/Support Camera Systems

Every once in a while, it's good to get reminders and so we wanted to send out a reminder about our Ridge Support's camera systems. Surveillance systems have started to become a more integral part of ensuring security and operational efficiency. As such Ridge Support Technologies began offering and supporting our own systems after seeing enough troubles with other systems our clients were using and receiving enough requests to look into it. Some of these camera systems have been in place for almost two years now.

Almost across the board, our partners have found our implementations to be a much more cost-effective solution for many organizations. Additionally, the systems integrate well into many of our partners’ pre-existing network infrastructure and it’s proven to be easily scalable to accommodate phased implementations, expansions, and changes. Even better is that, often times, many existing cameras can be adopted into the system – while they may not have full functionality, it provides another way to phase adoption and avoid facing all expenses in one shot where it may not be feasible.

The systems we’ve already put in place have been similar, or sometimes better, quality than the incumbent systems and can be less load on networks or computers. Where some systems require an agent to run on the local device in order to view footage, these systems allow for any user with access to view the cameras and footage from any internet-enabled device – which can allow for users to access it from multiple locations as well as alleviate potential need for higher-powered devices.

These systems can even classify videos for easier searches when needed. They can group together times when the same person walked through the cameras’ line of sight so you can review a specific individual – and it can allow for the search of written information in videos, such as looking up a license plate and when it might have passed through the system’s view.

If you're interested in looking at upgrading/replacing your current system or are looking at implementing a new camera system, please feel free to reach out to our offices. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the system and put together cost estimates/quotes so you can budget for a project such as this.

We strive to look out for the best interest of our customers and their procurement in the IT venue. Be it hardware, software or service related, we want to guide you in the most effective manner possible.
