It is re-enrollment time for the 2022-2023 school year

GLOBE student(s) planning to re-enroll for next school year are required to submit this online form. Fill out information for EACH student you have at GLOBE. 

We MUST hear from you by Friday, February 4, 2022. *If you have an 8th grader who is graduating, but hope to enter a sibling in the lottery, you must also complete this form. Eighth graders with no siblings entering into our lottery should not complete this form.

If your response changes from "Yes" to "No" between now and the start of the 2022-2023 school year, contact Meg Brown, Admissions director, at megan.brown@theglobeacademy.net.

Having an accurate count for the school year allows us to plan and budget appropriately or allows a student from our waiting list to fill the open spot.

GLOBE families with siblings applying to the lottery

Siblings are still part of our lottery and must submit an online lottery application during Open Enrollment (January 24 to February 18, 2022). Siblings get preference in GLOBE's lottery. For Kindergarten, acceptance is seamless, so don't worry! For siblings applying to 1st to 8th grade, remember that acceptance depends on availability of open spots in those grade levels. Also, siblings applying for 2nd or 3rd grade must first complete the STAMP assessment to show proficiency in Spanish, French or Mandarin. Students applying for 4th, 5th, 7th or 8th grades will first enroll into a grade level lottery. In the event that space becomes available, applicants must complete the STAMP assessment in order to enroll in 4th, 5th, 7th or 8th grades.

7th and 8th grade enrollment applicants should apply only if they can demonstrate the language proficiency required. Click here to read more.

What is a sibling?

1. Biological (including ½ sibling)/adoptive sibling residing within the GLOBE attendance zone.

2. Step-siblings residing in the same household. 

3. Foster children residing within the same household. 

Sibling notes:  

• Step-siblings living in different households are not considered for sibling preference. 
• An applicant must have a currently enrolled sibling at GLOBE at the time of the lottery. A sibling of an alumnus of the school does not qualify as a sibling for entrance preference. 
• Sibling preferences are only applicable for students who are eligible to enroll based on age.
