Reminder! Join Calgary Jewish Federation as our community unites on October 7 at 7pm, for our Marking October 7th Community Commemoration. The evening will be a powerful and meaningful gathering to honour the lives lost and forever changed by the tragic events of this day. Following a short ceremony, there will be a screening of the moving documentary film Safe Room, directed by Haley Geffen. This free event is presented in partnership with Calgary Jewish Federation, Beth Tzedec Calgary Jewish Film Festival and the Paperny Family JCC. There will be a light dessert reception following the film. Everyone is welcome. Register here. The location of this event will be communicated to registrants prior to the evening. For security purposes, we strongly encourage attendees to register in advance. Check-in will be required at the door.

Check out their Israeli Elections website for a clear, easy-to-follow breakdown of what's happening, and sign up for their free One Week Until Israel's Elections webinar with Miri Eisen on Monday, October 19 at noon, just days before election day.
