75 Years a Catalyst!
It’s not often that you get to celebrate a “75th anniversary.” On November 9th and 10th, The Foundation for Evangelism did so - gathering long-time friends, new acquaintances, donors, grant partners, board and staff in Charlotte, N.C., and online.
E. Stanley Jones Professors of Evangelism at Oxford Institute
At the 15th Oxford Institute for Methodist Theological Studies held in August, professors of evangelism were prevalent among multiple working groups. The Foundation-supported E. Stanley Jones Professors of Evangelism (as well as several who previously served in that role) were said to be “on the cutting edge, addressing the realities and answering questions most church leaders are just now beginning to ask.” While these professors gathered to work, they also valued the time they were able to spend together as a group to encourage and support one another in their work.
Thriving Congregations Local Church Cohorts Applications Open December 1
The Foundation for Evangelism’s Thriving Congregations Local Church cohort program will provide comprehensive training and resources, culminating in an opportunity to apply for our grant cycle. Participants will be guided through the process of outlining a relevant evangelism experiment, leveraging the knowledge and skills acquired during the cohort training.
Join us as we spread the word about The Foundation for Evangelism's work for 3/4 of a century, equipping laity, gospel leaders and churches to invite their neighbors to the Christian journey. Hear from grant recipients, share how the Foundation has equipped your evangelistic ministry, and connect new people with your favorite grant impact story. Help the Foundation continue to be a catalyst to invite more people to life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.
