NEW COMMITTEE FOR DULLES MEMBERS

We welcome two new members to Committee for Dulles (CFD). The first is ReStl Designers, Inc., a leading provider of structural engineering solutions, specializing in value engineering, feasibility studies, inspection & testing services, rehabilitation & renovation analysis, restoration, and construction management. They are a 38-year-old company and have worked on such projects as the Dulles Airport Midfield Concourse West expansion, the Dulles Metro Rail Silver Line and the National's stadium.

The second new CFD member is not new to CFD. Timothy (Tim) Aldridge has been serving on the Board of Directors, but as a representative of Atlantic Aviation. Tim retired from Atlantic at the end of October, so he decided he would join CFD as an individual. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Tim.

COMING EVENTS:

THE TOWER OF DULLES AWARDS GALA

We are looking forward to an evening of celebration on November 13 at the elegant JW Marriott Reston Station for the 2026 Tower of Dulles Awards Gala, celebrating the Committee for Dulles’s 60th anniversary. We are thankful to our wonderful Sponsors. This event could not happen without their generous support of the Committee for Dulles. All guests will have an opportunity to win some very nice prizes including airline tickets. Looking for a ticket, email Scott York.

THE DECEMBER LUNCHEON

Join us for a delightful Holiday Luncheon at the Dulles Airport Marriott on December 10, 2026. This special gathering offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow members and enjoy a festive atmosphere. We will hear the annual Dulles Airport report from Richard Golinowski, MWAA VP & Dulles Airport Manager. There has been a lot of activity at Dulles since Richard's 2025 report, making this update especially insightful.

THE FEBRUARY LUNCHEON

John E. "Jack" Potter, MWAA President and CEO, will speak to the Committee for Dulles on February 11, 2027, at the Dulles Airport Marriott. Jack has announced he will be retiring March 2027. This will be CFD's last opportunity to hear from him in his official capacity. With Dulles International Airport in the news of late, this will be an opportunity to honor the past while looking to the future.
