Best Buddies Palm Beach
Best Buddies Palm Beach announces its 2024 Champion of the Year Gala, being held on Friday, November 1st. from 7-11 pm at The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in Palm Beach, Florida. Tickets are still available for this incredible event, which has a goal of raising $400,00 to secure the first Best Buddies Independent Living Program in Palm Beach County. This years Co-Chairs are Lynsey Kane and Hunter Huff, the first chair that has an IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disability). This popular gala features a cocktail reception, dinner, dancing, and a silent and live auction, featuring amazing gifts of travel, sports, spas, art, golf, and much more.

While many in the family office and wealth management industry focus on preparing women to manage future family offices and inherit generational wealth, an often-overlooked group is Generation X, who stand to play a crucial role in this transition. As discussions revolve around empowering women, a debate looms on whether the transfer will be smooth or whether future regulations might create a “wealth trickle” instead, leaving some — like Gen Xers — on the sidelines.

This year, the Celestial Ball will celebrate the historic reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral and recognize the role Americans – philanthropists and artisans – played in its restoration with two very special Honored Guests: Odile de Schiétère-Longchampt, interior designer and steadfast champion of FHS and artisans who specialize in French decorative arts, and Hank Silver, the American carpenter who spent a year-and-a-half rebuilding the wooden roof framing of the cathedral’s nave.
