Áak'w Rock Indigenous Music Festival
|
Tlingit & Haida is a proud partner of the 2nd Annual Áak'w Rock Indigenous Music Festival.
The three-day concert series is happening September 21–23 in Juneau, Alaska and will feature 23 musical acts, representing 24 Indigenous cultures from around the world.
As the only Indigenous music festival in the country, Áak'w Rock seeks to overcome the historical under-representation of Indigenous performances and create an immersive soundscape of Indigenous dreams, connection, and visions for our future.
Ticket Prices Available:
- 1 General Admission Full Festival Pass: $150
- 2 General Admission Full Festival Passes: $250
- 1 VIP Admission Full Festival Pass: $250
The music festival is produced in partnership with Tlingit & Haida and the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council, with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
Interested in Being a Vendor?
Vendor tables are $300 ($400 for food trucks) and covers all three days of the music festival. Vendors will be provided a table, two chairs and a covered tent and will be assigned a space in the parking lot between the Centennial Hall and the Juneau Arts & Humanities Council. Rescue Relief Backpack Program for Youth Outside of Southeast Alaska
|
We've received more than 1,000 applications since launching the Rescue Relief Backpack program. That means our Rescue Relief Backpack program team is working hard to get backpacks with school supplies mailed to tribal citizen youth living outside of Southeast Alaska before the school year starts.
All tribal citizens living outside of Southeast Alaska, who have children between the age of pre-school to grade 12, are eligible to sign up. The Rescue Relief Backpack program is funded under Tlingit & Haida's American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding.

Prince of Wales Informational Fairs
|
|
Tlingit & Haida will be hosting community informational fairs August 14-15 on Prince of Wales Island. We invite all tribal citizens to join us and learn about our programs and services, eligibility requirements, and receive tribal enrollment support.
Note: An original birth certificate is required for new enrollment and one form of identification is needed to be issued a new Tribal ID (e.g., current Tribal ID or Government-Issued ID, social security card or driver’s license).
