Greetings!
I hope this letter finds you and your family doing well
This is my 9th year being involved in the MFDA's annual Toys for Tots campaign. Of all the MFDA events I have attended since I started with the organization, this one is still my favorite. To see the MFDA members and friends come together to support those less fortunate really helps to kick off the Holidays and remind me what this season is truly about.
Please join the MFDA this Thursday December 8th at the
Twin Door Tavern in Maywood NJ for an evening of good food and better company.
I sincerely hope you can once again join me in this campaign. You can help in one of a few ways:
Come to the Dinner
- Send in the registration form! You can pay by check or the MFDA can send you an invoice you can pay online! The Association has to give the restaurant a headcount - so if you would like to attend, please give me or the MFDA note as soon as possible, and you can settle the bill on Thursday.
Toys
- Bring Toys. The toys will be brought to Picatinny Arsenal for the Marines to sort and distribute.
- If you have been holding a toy drive, but need someone to pick up the toys, please let me or the association know.
Cash Donations
Please consider donating money. It’s not as fun as shopping for toys, but the cash donations are very important to the Marines so they can buy toys for age groups who don't get a lot of donations (typically small children and teenagers)
- CHECKS - Please remember to make your check out to “Toys For Tots”
-
CREDIT CARDS – Please fill out the donation portion on page 2 of the registration form and email to mfdaboard@gmail.com or fax to 201-612-0638 and you will get an invoice to pay
- ON-LINE – visit the MFDA website at http://www.mfda.us and donate (via PayPal) through the Toys for Tots page on the site.
Every year I am surprised by the tremendous outpouring of support the drive receives from its friends and members. I hope this year is no exception. Thank you very much for considering being a part of the drive. If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope you see Thursday. Take Care and Stay Safe.
Most Sincerely
Rob
