Please Support the PTA

Supporting the PTA, at $25 per adult family member, translates directly into funding for the programs and events that the PTA organizes and sponsors throughout the school year, including: Cultural Arts, Author Visits, Rev Day, Grade Level Math Programs, Edible Garden and much more.

There will be four PTA meetings throughout the school year where we will review upcoming events to ensure coverage and support are in place and discuss opportunities to bring new and exciting activities to BRS.

Minutes from the October 29th and February 25th meetings available now on the BRS PTA Website linked below.

Please note: These meetings are open to all parents and teachers looking for ways to contribute and get involved whether you have formally joined the PTA or not.

There are 2 main ways to join.

  1. Click on Support the BRS PTA link below which will take you directly to the GiveBacks.com website.

  • Thank you to Stephanie Ells, Janet Jiang, BRS teachers and parent volunteers for Math Mania. Our 2nd graders had a great time with Addition and Subtraction Relays, Cha-Ching and Measurement activities.
  • Refreshed Recess on Friday was a huge success! The children had incredible recess sessions with fun physical challenges and playtime activities. Thank you to Kristin McMahon and Jennifer Liddle for coordinating and the Pace student athletes who volunteered and brought the best recess ever to BRS.
  • Thank you to the Edible Garden Co-Chairs, Edible Garden Grade Reps and Parent volunteers who helped with the first week of spring sowing and programming. Below is a picture of planted peas by Kindergarten classes.

  • Justin Mancuso (PHS Junior) who coordinated the Maria Fereri Children's Hospital Book Drive earlier this month wanted to thank the community for its support. The book drive was a major success with 172 generous donors for a total of 260 books, 115 coloring books, 156 packs of crayons.
