Help Shape the Future of Career Education

The San Diego & Imperial Center of Excellence (COE) is excited to host a series of Career Education Community Forums in partnership with our regional colleges.

Community colleges are essential to building a strong, future-ready workforce, but we cannot do it alone. These forums will bring together employers, educators, nonprofits, and community leaders to identify workforce needs, remove barriers to student success, and ensure Career Education or Career Technical Education (CTE) programs align with real-world opportunities.

What to Expect

Each forum will offer space to listen, share, and collaborate. You will have the chance to:

  • Hear a presentation of labor market and demographic trends tailored to the community college district hosting the event
  • Share the challenges and opportunities you’re seeing in your community
  • Engage in open dialogue with fellow leaders and education partners
  • Provide input that will directly inform our Comprehensive Regional Needs Assessment (CRNA), which helps colleges fulfill their Perkins V federal funding requirements for CTE
