Exciting news! The City of Newark is moving forward with Resilient Hope, a proposed 24-unit, supportive housing complex designed to serve the City’s most vulnerable residents.

This project is part of Newark’s broader “Path Home” strategy, an ambitious and data-driven plan launched by Mayor Ras J. Baraka and the Office of Homeless Services to end chronic homelessness through community collaboration, prevention, and permanent housing.

Located on North Munn Avenue, Resilient Hope will deliver:

  • 6 residential buildings for 24 individuals
  • Community facilities with integrated support services
  • Completion anticipated in Summer 2026

The project is expected to be financed in September 2025. NW Financial is pleased to serve as the City of Newark’s municipal advisor.
