LWVPC Cohosting Voter Confidence Workshop

LWVPC will be co-hosting a voter confidence workshop on Saturday, October 17th at 11:00 AM at the CALS Nixon Public Library in Jacksonville. We encourage our members to come out and invite colleagues, friends, and neighbors in Pulaski County for a workshop to build confidence as a voter. Whether you're a first-time voter or a seasoned pro, there is valuable information at the Voter Confidence Workshop for everyone.

Observer Corps Hot Topics

If you are interested in being in the know, in promoting good governance in your community, and in becoming better acquainted with local issues and elected officials, consider joining the LWVPC Observer Corps. You can join by contacting one of the co-chairs of the Observer Corps, Susan Bell Leon (sbleon22@gmail.com). There are numerous local governmental bodies that could benefit from your involvement. It is clear that governmental boards and commissions take more care with their processes and relationships when they know that members of a nonpartisan organization like the League of Women Voters are paying attention to them.

Membership News

LWVPC members had a great time writing postcards to newly registered voters celebrating their vote. We sent 250 postcards out to Pulaski County residents whose voices should be heard at the polls this October 19 - November 3 for midterms.
