Introducing Co-VP of Fundraising, Christine Sachs

The Sachs family with daughter, Vivi Sachs (Drama, 2028)

Christine Sachs is a Master Certified Executive Coach and Leadership Trainer based in NYC. Prior to the last dozen years in coaching, Christine was a major gifts fundraiser for some of the world's best universities (Columbia, Cornell, University of Oxford). In her career, she has raised over $20M in major gifts and annual fund giving. She has seen first-hand the power of giving to make huge differences in the lives of students.

Q. What first inspired you to run for the PTA?

I wanted to make a difference, and fundraising is the best way I can help teachers and students to stay focused on the important stuff: teaching and learning their disciplines!

Q. What do you hope the Sinatra parents and guardians accomplish this year?

Pride and joy that can be found in all the moments. It's clear to this Freshwoman parent that this is a special place.

Q. What do you wish for our kids this year?

Development into incredible human beings. We try to teach Vivi that one of the most valuable lessons to learn in these years is about who you're becoming...not just what you're learning.

Q. Is there anything else you wish to tell us (hint hint)?

You'll be hearing from me (a.k.a. the Annual Fund) a lot! I hope I can inspire you to give whatever you can to support all of our students!

See below for an important message from Christine...

Trivia Time with Christine Sachs!

Happy Friday! I want to start my weekly PTA Annual Fund request with some FSSA trivia:

Which day of the year has the highest attendance at FSSA?

Email me, Christine Sachs, with your guesses. The answer will be revealed next week and winners will be crowned Supreme Frank Facts Finders!

Did you know that your gifts to the Annual Fund support VITAL operating expenses that our school needs to provide some of the best arts and academic training in the five boroughs?

Every gift matters — from shows, to equipment, to teacher support, to student events — we are major contributors to our children’s quality of life at FSSA. Let’s make it legendary!

#DoubleYourDonation and match your gift with corporate matching dollars. If you have any questions about how this works, please email Christine!

Thank you!
