Before deciding your whole house needs to be painted, walk across the street.

Seriously.

Seeing the entire house from a little distance can tell you things you won't notice standing three feet from the siding.

Look at the color, trim, doors and architectural details as one house instead of a collection of individual surfaces.

Sometimes the change you want is smaller than you thought.
