We are thrilled to share some incredible news! Académie Lafayette has earned a remarkable 98.5% on the 2024 Missouri Annual Performance Report (APR), placing us among the top three school districts in the entire state of Missouri out of 550 districts. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of our students, teachers, staff, and families.
Highlights Across the District
Our success extends to Académie Lafayette International High School (ALIHS), which earned an impressive 97.7% APR in just its fifth year of operation. This milestone highlights the exceptional academic opportunities available to our high school students, including:
- The rigorous International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
- Career and technical education pathways.
- Global studies programs with trips to Senegal, Costa Rica, and China.
What is the APR?
The Missouri APR evaluates the performance of schools and districts in key areas like academic achievement, college and career readiness, attendance, and graduation rates. Managed by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), it serves as a critical measure of educational quality statewide.
A Legacy of Excellence
Since its founding in 1999 as Missouri’s first charter school, Académie Lafayette has grown into the largest French immersion program in the nation, serving over 1,400 students across three campuses. Our innovative curriculum, rooted in academic rigor and cultural immersion, continues to prepare students for a global future while fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
Earning a 98.5% APR and being recognized as one of the top three school districts in Missouri is a testament to the dedication and effectiveness of our teachers, the hard work of our students, and the strong support of our families. The success of ALIHS, achieving 97.7% in just five years, exemplifies our district’s commitment to innovation and academic excellence.
